Trump proposes unconstitutional executive order on elections

A presidential executive order on elections would have no standing. Just read the clear language of Article 1, Section 4. Congress can do all kinds of things; he cannot.

If anybody here disagrees, I’d like to hear your legal argument why he wouldn’t get knocked down immediately in any court.

If Americans want national voter ID, it will have to come from Congress, or one state legislature at a time.

There is what is constitutionally permissible and what is politically calculated.

My prediction is that every lower court would agree, and thus there would be no dispute to resolve.

Unless the case appeared on the emergency docket because of a pending election that does not allow for a normal process.

it defies common sense.

i just checked into a hotel in Austin, to visit my daughter, i had to show an id.

i had to show an id twice at the airport.

had i rented a car i would have had to do it again.

to argue against it in order to vote is absurd. good god, how much obvious does voter fraud need to be??
