Once again a bunch of nominees nowhere near rock. You might as well put Frank Sinatra in.

I hate to say it, but somewhat similar to whatever they're calling the "Illini Hall of Fame". Pretty sure Lou didn't make it the first year because they wanted a name or two for the next year.

I think there are enough legitimately great true rock and roll acts such that . . .

. . . you could elect 3 to 4 every year and just about never run out. Even if a ton of early rock and roll acts had been inducted initially to start things off.

Like Dave Matthews Band, formed in the 1990s, got in once eligible. Who from the 2010s might make it in 10 or 20 years? No idea, other than Taylor Swift.

I'll be perfectly honest: for me, already a lot of "who tf are they?" names.

And on a more macro level... when do we go from rock-and-roll to some other style??

In the same way rock took over from say, the big band era.
