The 9th Circuit decided 2-1 that it was fine. But now any appeal will go to the SC if they hear will take it.

From the dissent, the justice claims that the districts were drawn specifically for racial purposes. For that reason this could get overturned. I didn't expect to hear that.

then CA is getting overturned. I don't have a lot of hope that it will. But it's just what the next step is.
