i usually stop paying attention when a loss seems obvious, but i held in for both the dodgers and bears. two of the craziest finishes i've seen.

there was no reason you should have assumed a loss down 1 with 54 seconds. outside of maybe getting a holding penalty or a lucky tip, there frankly isnt a team in the league the bengals could have stopped in that spot.

When the schedule was announced, I had planned on attending. But I don't do well at away games for my teams. The last time I attended a Bears game in Cincy, I damn near got my ass kicked by the three meatheads behind me.

cincinnati is a pretty laid back town for the most part as far as fans. i was in DC for the MNF for bears/commanders a few weeks ago and was more on my proverbial ps and qs in that environment .

I last caught a Cubs game in Cincy back in 2016. Great atmosphere at the park and all along that stretch of the river.

Problem is, the Cubs seem to come to Cincy 3 times each season: 1. Really early before I am paying much attention; 2. The dog days of summer when Cincy can be a humid hellhole; and 3. Late in the season when both teams have traditionally been out of the running (although not always).
