We played really bad last week for a big chunk of the game, and our O Line has been just plain awful all year. It wS bad against Duke. You can’t have a top 25 team with an OL like that.

We won some really close games last year that perhaps overrated the state of our program.

My dad said we didn’t look too 25 against Duke and I disagreed but clearly he was right. I had orange colored glasses on.

I would say they’re def top 20 but we need to beat Purdue to gauge our level

UCLA is basically going to be Purdue.

Put most all of their resources into basketball and hope to get to .500 in football through cupcakes out of conference and hoping to beat the other bottom dwellers.

Cigs isn't going to the SEC, he'd get eaten alive there and I don't see him connecting with any of those fan bases.

I could see Clemson maybe, but letting go of Dabo is going to be a big mistake for them.

I think UNC makes the most sense....not too southern, but is willing to spend money to try to move up in the football world.

Michigan, Penn St. and UDub probably aren't opening up anytime soon but would be a good fit if something changed at one of them.

I usually catch at least a game of an upcoming opponent, but I haven't seen this team at all.

I looked at their stats this morning and they are just plain gaudy. It also shows how little I know about them when I saw that they have 2 brothers at QB. I'm hoping the stats are due to the strength of their opponents rather than their proficiency, but I fear it's probably both.

My prediction earlier is based entirely on gut feeling. I hope that feeling changes tomorrow.

but I think they've been exposed by some bad/average teams already this season.

I think we lose to Indiana/USC/UDub/tOSU. The good news is we still have 5 more Patty Cake teams left to play in Purdue/Rutgers/Maryland/Sconny/Nerds which will let us finish 8-4 and we'll probably crawl back into the bottom of the Top25 the last week or two of the season. If we can finish with a win in a shitty bowl to finish 9-4 that's probably right where we should strive to be every year and I think Bert will keep the train rolling in the 8-9 win a year level.

I hope I'm wrong and we squeak out wins somehow vs Indiana/USC/and UDub, but I don't believe BLJ is remotely capable of game planning out a decent offense or reacting quick enough in game after his plan of attack blunders yet again. We can make halftime adjustments against directional schools and win, but it won't be enough against 2nd tier B1G schools.
