I know most of you change the oil in your cars so this will be important to you.

I purchased oil and filters from Wal Mart. When I was selecting the filter to go with the synthetic oil, the box on the filter in the front of the tray was open and the filter in the box was the base model which is less than half the price of the filter that is supposed to be in the box.
I go to the next one that slides down the chute and it's the same. Ditto for the third one. When the last one in the chute comes down it hadn't been opened and had the correct filter in the box.
I'm guessing there were empty boxes where the swapped out filters originally resided.
When I was leaving and the guy at the door was checking my receipt I told him about the situation. He just said, "Uhm, OK thanks".
Effers just don't rip off the retailer which ends up costing us to make up the difference, but several people are going to get the cheap ass filter instead of the one they need.
I feel like volunteering my time in the loss prevention department.

When I worked in retail MANY years ago, the checkout clerks were expected to open up most product boxes to check the contents, especially high end items. I'm sure that's probably still the norm. Guns. Have them.
The welfare of humanity is always the alibi of tyrants.
