Perfect fit for Chrysler. They've never been able to break that mold.
If you want a contemporaneous book about the auto industry that's better, read "The Reckoning" by David Halberstam.

just read Lee Iacocca's autobiography that i stole from dad's place when I was in PA in December.
since we both grew up in A-town and went to the same high school, I enjoyed the stories of his youth.
but it was a surprisingly good business book. not just the struggles at Ford/Chrysler but just managing people and overall advice.
too bad he didn't run for pres. think he could've beaten GHB in 1988. had to do better than dukakis.
