...with my 10 year old in Nov. I think I bought the tickets like 6 months ago on Stubhub?

Luckily I had a 400 dollar stubhub credit because they were $740 DOLLARS...

June of 2027. Tickets go on sale tomorrow.

WTF? Is this normal these days? The ticket brokers want your money 9 months in advance?

Ahhh...memories of Assembly Hall, one-armed-drummer...Fall of 1988 - OskeeWowWowDig October 15, 2026, 12:47:30
- I was there! I wanna say Fall of '88* - Mismysteri October 15, 2026, 15:11:54
- I wanted to see that show. Not certain why I did not get tickets.* - Lexillini October 15, 2026, 13:17:40
  - I remember. I was a little down on DL at the time. I thought Hytseria was a little too pop-y.* - Lexillini October 15, 2026, 13:18:49
    - I felt the same way about Hysteria; however, I still love Pyromania so much - OskeeWowWowDig October 15, 2026, 13:46:03
      - I should have gone. In the following years, I have warmed up on Hysteria. - Lexillini October 15, 2026, 14:13:15

Hysteria is a great album. Nearly every song is good - AceFrehley October 15, 2026, 15:57:14

        Agree. It's fine. I don't hate it...but it's not their best stuff.* - OskeeWowWowDig October 15, 2026, 14:18:42
- I looked it up...38 years ago, tomorrow. 10.16.88 at Ass Hall. LA Guns Opened. - OskeeWowWowDig October 15, 2026, 12:49:28
  - And here comes missmystery!* - AceFrehley October 15, 2026, 12:55:18
    - ha! Yep..of course!* - Mismysteri October 15, 2026, 15:13:09

I thought i posted this already but: I had to buy Oasis tickets over a year out - AceFrehley October 15, 2026, 12:38:23
- That's crazy considering there is a 72% chance they'll break up before they finish the tour* - villain October 15, 2026, 13:17:16
  - it was for the last tour. 9/2025. I bought them in like spring of 2024 - AceFrehley October 15, 2026, 13:20:59
  - Ha! My initial reaction as well.* - Lexillini October 15, 2026, 13:19:34
I think the one-armed drummer is MAGA* - Xar October 15, 2026, 12:14:53
Maybe they put them up early to see if they'll have trouble selling out a venue? - haighter October 15, 2026, 11:59:41
- That might be true for some acts but I would not think it applies to DL and Goo Goo Dolls.* - Lexillini October 15, 2026, 13:20:10
- def leppard? no. they don’t have that problem in arenas - Playoff Rondo October 15, 2026, 12:05:32
  - I figured maybe they did. I know Motley and Poison and maybe someone else? - haighter October 15, 2026, 12:34:47
    - they teamed up with motley crue and poison for a stadium tour - Playoff Rondo October 15, 2026, 12:39:50
yes. normal* - Playoff Rondo October 15, 2026, 11:19:02
- Not on my watch!* - Lexillini October 15, 2026, 11:30:17
  - it’s not our fault louisville is so late into the tour. all dates typically go on sale at same time - Playoff Rondo October 15, 2026, 11:40:31
    - Not how it worked when I was a frequent concert goer many years ago. - Lexillini October 15, 2026, 11:42:35
