at what age did she start field hockey?

I'm curious, because when my daughter played in HS (class of 2004), most girls had not played before. Many switched from soccer.

By the time she graduated, more girls started playing in middle school and taking it more seriously to get an early start. Which of course makes it harder for girls to rotate into FH later.

Got word that my daughter is starting in goal for her DII field Hockey team. Not sure if it will be a time sharer with the other goalie. Regardless she is starting for the defending National Champs as a Freshman!
