There is a great pic of me in my Cubs hat and red shirt, sitting at the kitchen table holding my glasses in one hand and staring down and studying the Trib Sports section with intent!

My dad was Cubs fanatic (buried with Cubs hat), and was an umpire at night. So I went to almost all of his games and sat behind the catcher with the teenage boy helpers and helped keep what I "think" were stats..cannot even remember exactly.

I still have all my old playoff Cubs t-shirts from the 80s
