Instead, we ended up gambling together all night, holding hands.. and you should have seen the faces of the dealers when we told them the story that just transpired a few hours prior. They thought we were old couple.. lolol..
The week was SO SO FUN, I cannot even explain it..surreal I guess. Going to his shows and I hit 2 jackpots right at the bar underneath where they were playing on the stage 20 feet away..and I was drinking, singing, smoking and dancing the entire time, like it wa 1987 again.
Again, TOTAL movie scene or a great dream - especially hitting the jackpots during this wildly fun night, to boot.

he wouldn't remember my name almost 40 years later..good god can't believe that number.
But we still keep up with Baylor (much more my best friend than me since I don't fakebook) and we were still talking to Jim Bean and a few others - and I even reunited for a crazy fun week 11 years ago with an old flame ..showed up at his show in Memphis - hiding behind a slot machine to pick my moment - (in Tunica, actually) and he about fell over when he saw me!! He was speechless, for real, and finally sputtered out my name when he collected himself and almost fell over (it had been 30 years!) We picked up right where we left off, like not a day had gone by! Was seriously a movie scene, BETTER than most movie scenes!
