sorry, the "only 5 minutes of the film" is such a silly argument. films about history should be historically accurate. films about mythology should be true to the writings. if someone cast benedict cumberbatch as an african zulu warlord, people would riot. the blow back on Helen of Troy is appropriate and well placed here as well.
