Think Dave Portnoy pizza scoring so all good to very good.

The TB was a cake, the others brioche. All were a little heavier than I like, but each was delicious. None were overly sweet which I loved. Good fresh ingredients and you could tell.

Overall it definitely doesn’t come close to Parlor Donuts in the southeast, Hook & Press in Santa Barbara, or Shipleys in Houston which are all 9’s. Lantern was good, but they shade more towards dessert than donuts…if you think of them in that context the price is a little more palatable but as a donut for breakfast it’s a once or twice a year place.
