Right now, they've got be vetting the ever-loving shite out of whoever it is.
Still strange to me that they're going thru all this stuff to run a candidate to replace a GOPer who doesn't care for Trump at all. AFAIK, two of the people who caucus GOP yet oppose Trump the most are the Senators from Maine and Alaska (among others). Seems like the Dems can't lose here... except when they decided that they gotta run about the worst candidate in Maine's history.
Jeebus, get some old clown currently in ME state government who is ready tor retirement anyway; let him spend his summer yapping about how he HATES HATES HATES Trump. Methinks you're getting more publicity with the current GOP turncoat than you would with some new guy/girl.
