I don't blame a kid for not knowing things that are obvious to many people, any more than I'm not stupid for not knowing how to work the controls on a bunch of video games.
But people of low standing should watch their posts that may contribute to that perception.
And that could be for other subjects, too, such as people who are obviously lazy.
