Particuarly handguns. Along with a decent selection of handgun and rifle rentals to try out on its various ranges. Prices on new pistols seem about average for the most aprt but I have seen some really good prices on their large selection of used pistols.

Buying online is where you are going to find the best deals. And I can recommend some places to check out. The problem I have seen with many gun stores in the Chicagoland area is that they charge way too much for FFL tranfers if you buy something online and then have it shipped to the store. GAT may one of the worst with a transfer fee close to $100, if I recall correctly. $50+ is par for the course up there. Down by me, I pay no more than $20 to $25.
