I’ve been across the border 20+ times this last year alone. I’m also friends of acquaintances with several dozens of Canadians….half of our lake cottage neighborhood are Canadians.

I can’t remember a single time that I’ve heard while in Canada or from one of my Canadian owning neighbors anything remotely negative about the US or Trump. Everything is overwhelmingly positive and most express a willingness or desire to become part of the US. A few prefer independence from Ottawa over statehood , but most want to join the US, love Trump, and hate hate hate carney and previously Trudeau.

Maybe this is just the sentiment in interior BC, Alberta, and Saskatchewan vs eastern Canada, but it is clear what the majority want and how they view things.
