Ed's story was well-known to me because dad was a teenager living less than an hour away from where this all took place back in the 1940s and 1950s.

The show pronounced his last name as "Geen". I had always heard it as "Guyne". *shrug*

The series documents the effects Gein had on later serial killers. What a total suprise to see that virtually every subsequent serial killer influenced by Gein (Ted Bundy being the only exception) engaged in some sort of transexual / cross-dressing deviancy.
