This photo is depicting a Coeur d’Alene player on his knees wearing a practice jersey, with two uniformed Post Falls players on either side pointing pistols at his head. Some Post Falls players did this and put it on social media prior to the upcoming game between the two schools. The pistols were confirmed to be air soft pistols.
In response, the Post Falls High school/school board took the following action:
🔹Removal from athletics for the remainder of the school year
🔹A two-week school suspension
🔹Eight hours of community service
🔹Completion of a social media responsibility course
The snowflakes who did this / got in trouble are now crying that their first amendment rights are being trampled and that the punishment is too severe. They and their parents attempted to stage a walkout, but only 12 parents and 14 students participated.
IMO they got off light. My guess is that if they weren't athletes, they would have been outright expelled from the school. Based on the FB comments, I'm happy to see that my fellow gun toting Idahoans largely agree that the punishment was fitting and that these boys need an urgent lesson in common sense, gun safety, and accountability.
