Allegedly the networks think their content is worth a lot, the re-broadcasters disagree and say live sports is the only thing with any value left on network TV. Kimmel is just an easy property for Sinclair and Nexstar to push around. It probably does limited local ad revenue and they probably feel fine running competing content against it.  Previous Message
Boy, WGN on-air staff hated when Sinclair bought them out. Kinda wonder what the idea is today; will we pick up some ratings points in Chicago/nationwide if people boycott Jimmy ?? That will be good for our year-end bonuses...
