I say we get rid of Juneteenth as a federal holiday and turn Labor Day into a week with three federal holidays. They have two weeks like that in Japan and it is massive stimulus for the economy because all the office jobs and factories close for a week, which in turn bolsters travel and consumer spending. I think a similar thing in America would be awesome.

I would propose calling 9/10 Leftist Violence Memorial Day and 9/11 Islamic Violence Memorial Day. Roll Labor Day into the same week and make it a floating Monday or Friday of that week to make sure there are three business days off in the same week.

They'd have to amend over the banking regulation that prohibits banks from closing 4 consecutive days. I think people having a week of reflection of the horrors inflicted on the world by global leftism and the Religion of Peace as summer wanes and temperatures drop would be a nice symbolic gesture that would move our country ahead.

And of course, make election day a national holiday in the draft legislation so when Democrats reject it we can say they are opposed to making election day a holiday.
