Not sure if I'm buying that hype, but time will tell. Iose may take a year to make a difference, but he should be an all conference player as an upperclassman. Some of our best teams in program history have been absolutely humbled by the likes of Carson Palmer, Christian McCaffery, Nick Foles, etc. In my lifetime, Iowa has managed two wins at Arizona (80's when AZ was an afterthought) by a combined total of 4 points and we had a bowl game against USC where the pride of Edwardsville, AJ Epenesa ripped Slovis's arm out of the socket and we won handily. Otherwise, we have moderate success against these programs at home and been absolutely humiliated every other time we have headed out west. You just have a different caliber player out there and if USC had to go to Champagne in November I think you would have a great shot to win it, but I don't like the thought of playing them when the weather is still decent no matter where the teams are ranked. They're always gonna have at least one guy who gives the plodding Big Ten teams a problem. God I hate this expansion shit.
