I commend them for this strategy, this will get people talking and be a marketing campaign that will take off with minimal spend on the marketing front because people like the points guy will promote it to millions of followers for free. Once they hit a critical mass and are bleeding money, they pull the rewards and hope the critical mass remains intact. It's pretty creative.
