Mellon will be rightly furious tonight as will any connections associated with Boundary Park.
These situations happen at every football club no matter which club you support. Although, I have to agree it looked like the ref had a substantial bet by way of a family member on a Crawley win.
I agree when someone said you can’t blame Mellon for that defeat, but we are not in this position through the ref today we are in this position through Mellon and poor decisions by the board.
Holiday season is over for me, back slapping has finished, we need a board that understands football and what it means to the town and fans.
The board need someone who knows what the football side
is like for fans, and what they want to witness.
The club needed Frank, but Frank also needs fans through the turnstiles and they won’t come if it’s crap football. There is a ratio between attendances and leagues. National league get National league size gates etc.
For me the club needs freshening up with new management, maybe some new board members that are prepared to invest, and I don’t mean from abroad.
If I sound ungrateful I’m not, but we fans and Frank may not want exactly the same thing?
