And I felt ashamed for having abandoned a match like that, for having abandoned a team I had chosen, simply because of a rivalry with my brother. And I blamed myself, so I decided to support the club, from far and with whatever means I had, but I no longer support Oldham, simply because I’m angry with myself.
Over the course of the 2025/2026 season, I gradually got to know the club, its history, and its supporters; however, I feel a bit alone, as all my friends support major clubs, so, naturally, when I say that I support Oldham and Toulouse FC, they tend to poke a little fun at me. They said "you supporte *vieux jambon*" and they laught. This club represents more than just a redemption...I really love this club.
Stop talk about myself, I search a forum because I have nobody to talk about Latics, so I'm here and I write this message. But I see its not the happiest moments. Saturday, I saw my first match of Oldham in the TV , and I have a question, Is this how teams in EFL League Two play, or is this just Mellon’s style of football? I mean, constantly launching long balls and praying for a miracle, while playing so defensively? I love football and I would work in later, but I really hate defensive football that lacks a game plan for playing the ball out cleanly. I prefer 4-2-3-1.
And that all, say to me if you want me, and I would absolutely understand if the answer is no. Also, sorry for the trouble, my English might not be very good. And sorry because it's not a Oldham only message, sorry really for the long message too.and sorry if I express bad myself
Good night.
