I have stopped watching MMs pre-match and after-match interviews but after last night I decided to watch his after-match comments.

He talks about the players taking responsibility and making the right decisions. No mention of him taking responsibility and no apologies to the suffering fans who travelled to Walsall in poor conditions to watch a non-performance.

It was very toxic and the players must have been embarrassed having to face the fans after the match. Micky Mellon was chanted at in a very derogatory manner and he didn't (or daren't) go over to face the fans. It was a replay of the Gateshead away game when Unsworth received the same toxic treatment, soon before his departure.

He should have apologised to the fans and he should have accepted responsibility for his actions which caused the defeat. I will not be seeing any more of his interviews - I've learned my lesson!
