It's down to the actual Player and his Captain to explain to the Referee exactly what happened then await the Referee's decision. On this occasion if I recall correctly our Player went to ground and had his hair pulled quite firmly. Did the Referee not witness the hair pulling, just the Player being brought dows? What did the Linesman see? No cameras/screens available for the Referee. Maybe the Captain should notify the Referee that he would appeal the wrong decision?
