We appointed a recruitment manager with a fanfare to herald his arrival. Who knows what the cost is for him?

His total input thus far seems to have been the signing of Chilvers, a creative midfielder from Ross County, his previous club. We have given this player about 90 minutes football in 9 league and 2 Cup games all season.

The remainder of the squad fillers namely Pett, Sutton, Hammond, Payne, Hawkes, Hill, Temple, Tahir, Wilson are either nothing to do with him or poor signings.

Surely his position is not full time given there are only 2 months in which to sign anybody, and if this is the calibre of his input God help us.
