Fact:We are 4th from bottom and the 3 below have a game in hand.

Fact: We have only played one team from top 7 yet, and they weren't when we played them. Chesterfield in 8th played us off the park.

Fact: We have won 3 out of our last 15 games.

Fact: Despite playing a more expansive game this year we still can't score goals because we don't have any quality at the top end and haven't had for 3 years. This approach automatically makes defensive performance more vulnerable.

By any stretch of the imagination the current situation doesn't for one minute suggest we are likely to challenge for promotion and unless things change in some way it's going to be a long season.
