After three defeats, I think some credit should be given to the 11 we saw in action last night. Okay chances were few and far, but then we all know the squad doesn't contain a recognised goal scorer -irrespective of the names on the team sheet. Tahir looked promising,
Sutton put over three feally decent crosses which should have yielded goals, the centre backs did what was expected of them, and Payne and Pett were prominent. Goalscorer Chilvers looks like someone who could be starting for us on Saturday evening. He doesn't;t look the most athletic, but he's a bundle of energy and someone who could influence the game against Salford. Nevitt deserves praise for setting up our goal shortly after half-time, it was a lovely cut back - however, in spite of his best efforts, the poor lad slacking in quality even for Lge2. I'm puzzled as to why goalkeeper Wilson didn't get a game. If anything happens to Hudson.............!!!
