Yes, the abuse was very clearly heard on tv too. I don’t like knee jerk reactions but the fans were right in their opinions. Let’s be honest Mellon has had a bootball theory thats works in the lower divisions but it doesn’t work in league 2 unless you’re very lucky.
Things have moved on, Shez realised it and retired. I don’t believe Mellon can move us on. I hope the board realise it too and bring in a young ambitious manager, there is no guarantees in football, but you “pay your money and take your chance”, can he do any worse? Not a lot I would say.
When Frank saved the club it wasn’t job done it was job started now we need to progress and I don’t think it will happen under Mellons guidance.
