Port Vale dominated 1st Half but the Latics gave them no rest, especially in the 2nd Half and ended up with a superb, convincing Win. We still need a Striker. Didn't think our Defence would hold without Monthe, but it did. Norburn is a great credit to Oldham and our nippy Loanee from Stoke is such a delight to watch. GN9 played his usual part all over the pitch, as did both our Full Backs and Midfield. The High Ball was ceased and from then on it was a good match to watch. Port Vale brought a few Subs on but couldn't score, then MM brought his own to shut down the final 10 minutes. Our lads needed to be very fit for this Match and they were.
