We’ve let a few goals in so that’s a bit of a concern but we’ve played against teams higher up the pyramid and been using nearly 20 players during each of the friendlies.Hopefully when he settles on his preferred eleven we’ll be better.

Kavanagh has started this season looking very sharp & fit, Nevitt looks a tidy player and Forson looks to be a Duracell bunny, he’s all over the pitch, looks very fit, and appears to be exactly the kind of player we’ve been crying out for!!😆
We’re definitely playing it on the deck more and have had some good periods of possession.

I’m not sure about Scott-Morriss at full back. We’ve been playing with a back 4 but if we’re going to get the best out of him I think he needs to play WB in a back 5. Maybe he’s been brought in to play in a 5 should the need arise?🤷‍♂️

We still need that specialist striker and hopefully MM Jnr is that man.
I believe we are also looking at Ronan Hale at Gillingham. Scored a fair few goals at Ross County so will be well known by Greg Strong. He only signed for the Gills in January for a rumoured £200k so if to they’re willing to let him go there’s certain to be a fee involved.

Don’t think we’re likely get both and he’s probably an option if we fail to land Mellon but you never know?🤷‍♂️

It’s only preseason and performances are always difficult to evaluate but there is plenty of cause for optimism. COYB!!
