With question marks still being posted for varying reasons about Hawkes, Woods, Hammond and Sutton the first team picks itself in both attack and defence. There’s a real lack of competition unless one or two of them proves themselves or a youngster breaks through. Even with the picks there is a few that are stepping up a league and/ or have something to prove. That’s not good in a team that’s seeking promotion - outcomes could go either way. As things stand with this squad the bookies have us right. I think we are 4 players with proven pedigree short of a promotion team. I’m hoping.
