Have Germany ever had a foreign manager? It should never happen, the clue is in the name England.
Having said that there have been some shocking choices who have been English, eg McLaren, Allardyce etc.

We are totally dependent on the faceless people at the FA choosing the right person, I have little or no confidence in them doing that.

I would go for the same person I went for when Tuchel got the job - Eddie Howe on a 4 year contract and let him get on with it.

He's done fairly well at club level but think he would do better at international level where he doesn't have to deal with grossly overpaid foreigners (just overpaid Englishmen )
