Bryn you may be able to help me remember here. When I was about 14 or 15 I was into cycling for a while. There was a cyclist shop in Manchester that I used to visit regularly with a friend (we both had racing bikes) to look at the latest gear. I believe it was very close to Victoria station.
We used to wag off school occasionally to go on a road trip. Chester was a favourite for us, when my mother came home from work around 5 o’clock she would to say to me you look tired son, hard day ?😣
Nobby Clark’s keeps popping in to my head, would that be right? What jolted my mind was ‘campagnolia’type gears came into my head.

I seem to remember Fallowfield being on the Old Chester Rd just before that tattered looking stadium around the Old Trafford area. Crap team too.
Fallowfield hosted time trials and pursuit races etc.
