His mate and fellow rugby colleague Rob Burrows was diagnosed with MND in late 2019 and died a couple of years ago.
Kevin Sinfield’s loyalty towards his friend was unbelievable and he helped to nurse him through his illness to the very end and ran countless marathons raising over £11m for MND research.
You must surely have followed the story as it was in the news and media just about every week for several years.
I cannot think of a more deserving person to have been awarded a knighthood….an absolute man mountain and an inspiration to us all!!
