It should be remembered that the recruitment for next season is only in its infancy and the target of a 22 player squad still some way off. So far,the signings that have been announced are encouraging and it was good to secure Monthe for another contract.
The club has never been in such a good position and a lot will depend on what quality we can acquire in tne weeks ahead. It will determine our chance of success this time around,and the opportunity should not be wasted.
As regards Hawkes and Woods who are both available for transfer,they will likely go out on periods of loans and because of their situation should not be entertained for a place in our 1st eleven. They have no reason to give of their best for us!
So,we have 16 under contract including those two and including two goalkeepers, A possible 8 to come in yet!
