We haven’t the finances to buy all the (off the shelf) best players and have to take a gamble or two and hopefully find some hidden gems.

Paul Mullin for instance had a less than 1 in 5 scoring record before joining Cambridge and became better than 1 in 2 for the following 5 seasons!!

MM will know all about his qualities and in the right environment players can come on in leaps & bounds.

Let’s give him a chance shall we and see how he performs before writing him off!
