Totally agree with these posts. BOS as lj said, totally different positions and different attributes required.
He’s a good player and if Mellon allows him to get forward and doesn’t blunt his attacking instincts then he’s going to be a very useful addition indeed. Don’t want to seem ungrateful and ruthless but if you compare Scott Morris to Sutton (who is a centre half really) ….. enough said.
Two quality midfielders and one striker for competition and we won’t be far off. Hopefully the board and manager will get the length of contracts right and if the player is towards the older end the contract is not to long.
Are we heading in the right direction, yes without doubt. Should we be excited, I think so!
