I went to Wembley last Sunday on my annual jaunt to the non-league play-offs and it was the worst ever. Two games, no goals in regular time, two penalty shoot-outs to decide. The Southend game was slightly better that the first game but in the end it's still a Mickey Mouse Cup win.

I do feel sorry for the Southend fans as they have lost the last two proper play-offs and they have been through trying times like us. I hope they come up next year but what a horrible thought... another season in the National League!
