I'm sticking up for Brad here. As a fellow cameraman I know the pitfalls of having to use the toilet, having a bite of your butty or pie, having to warm your hands for a moment as your fingers are freezing, talking to the bloke next to you, deleting the previous frame as it held nothing of interest, etc.

It's easy to miss a goal and it all happens so suddenly. No big screen to video the replay... ad infinitum. You try to learn by experience and it's a long process. More importantly, no Roy to explain in pundit detail how the goal was scored!
