Maybe I’m wrong but I understood that Mellon jnr. is now out of contract at Burnley? Perhaps they have an option on him for another season? In any event, if Burnley want to keep him, I doubt that we would be able to match their current wages wages that they could offer. If they don’t, then I expect we would be in pole position to take him on a permanent deal.
