After seeing it Live and then viewing it back, there didn’t seem much in it. Fondop didn’t use his arms/elbows to get elevation. Their Player seemed to clash heads with Fondop and there was only going to be one outcome, he was going down for the count. There was in my opinion, always going to be a Penalty decision. As it happened, it was more to the fact that Ogle, wasn’t aware of what was going on around him?? Newport seemed to send their biggest/largest Players to surround and try to bully the Officials. After the Penalty, seeing as the Ref had set the boundaries, why was no action taken when the Newport Player assaulted Donaghy in mid-air?? Let’s hope Micky Lemon gets things right next year.
Plus why oh why play Garner the full 2 hours near enough?? If the kid is good enough for the bench, he certainly has the legs to come on late. Last bit Simeu&Jalo hopefully never get anywhere near that Team AGAIN.
