Has anyone else noticed the great escape that Gateshead have produced in the national league this season?
Having looked absolute whipping boys earlier in the season, they re-employed an old manager called Rob Elliot(used to play in goals for Newcastle) and they ended the season 12 points clear of the drop.
The latics great escape of 1993 is also included in one of the modern day footballing houdini acts...
