I wonder if MM secretly didn't want the Latics to get promotion this season. A higher level would seriously challenge his abilities and it would mean buying players capable of competing at League One level. We are well aware of his recruiting abilities as so many of his recruits (mainly midfielders) have flopped.

I saw too many flashbacks to early season form last night and I dread to think that we may start next season with the steadfast "let's not lose" attitude rather than the "let's win" attitude that we know we are capable of. I want to watch a positive Oldham Athletic.
