Like a lot of posters on this site I was disappointed with some of the crap football being played by our team, and now the football is better and we are winning, there are still people moaning about not pushing on sooner.
What none of you know is what MM knows about the players personal situations, injury’s & the board demands.
Fondop for instance had some personal issues at the start of the season which probably affected his game & maybe everything is ok now, hence his better performance. Our better players have come back from injuries & we have a settled side. All these will have helped us play like we are now. I am also aware from club staff that player fees for league 1 teams are much higher this season due to the money being banded about by certain league 1 clubs, so if we get promoted this year, we might not be able to afford the quality of players we would need to survive in league 1.
Why not just enjoy the ride & see where it takes us this season, it’s far better than when the Moroccans were running it.
