Winning with his awful tactics would make the outcome more tolerable. In my view attacking and losing would be better to watch.
The feeling from Wembley? I didn't expect us to go marching up this league. We, to a certain extent, were lucky to even be promoted, Again his tactics played a huge part in that in the last half of last season. We dropped from something like second on Jan 1st.
I went the other night and took my grandson. Frank was in a cabin in the car park, we had 10 minutes talking with him. He said he's happy with our current position. It's what he expected. He knows some thought we should have pressed on and gone for promotion. But for him it was a hope. Not an expectation. He went on to say.
We are basically playing with a NL standard team due partly to not knowing which division we would be in until June. We had a month less than other teams to put a squad together. He said next season is the season we are aiming at promotion.
He made a lot of sense when you sit and listen to him. And hear it from his perspective. He's a great bloke and down to earth.
