I know a family that started coming last year, we were friends in our teens they bring their two grandkids. I bumped into him a month ago and said ‘I haven’t seen you for a while’ he hinted he’d lost interest and the kids weren’t particularly interested either.
Don’t think he comes anymore, it’s only a small area in the family stand and I haven’t seen him. (Could be approaching £100 lost revenue with this family alone).
We need to continue the progress to keep new fans enjoying the atmosphere and when the crowd are off their seats its infectious.
It’s important to entertain and get the crowds back and not lose momentum.
Mellon is stifling the club without knowing it.
The club has a huge chance to progress even farther with a board
that any club would envy, I hope they make the right decision and go for a younger more adventurous type of manager soon before everything goes stagnant again.
