Yes, it’s hard to believe that these so-called football managers/ coaches keep signing players with the ability of Quigley and Drummond. To charge a fee for Quigley is criminal it’s like being ripped off by a second hand car salesman from a back street forecourt.
I rate Drummond only slightly better than Quigley but only because of the pace he has and that he can cause defenders at league 2 level problems. He has youth on his side but he will never be a goal scorer, he has no ball control.

Before anybody says we have to cut our cloth etc, I get that, but it wouldn’t surprise me if both were on better money than Fondop who IMO is a far better all round player.
Mellon is asking Fondop to defend corners, hold the ball up, bring other players in to the game and score goals while playing for the odd 20 minutes every now and then. You can’t reach your best performances being a bit player.
The recruitment part of the club is not great and doesn’t fit with Mellons idea of a footballer anyway.
